I have seen battles before, from a distance. People fighting and shedding blood everywhere.
[And barring that, William has been in danger more times in one year than some soldiers will be in their entire life times. But...]
It's so up close, even though I was just in support. You can study tactics and that, but it's not the same thing when you are green.
