[ Perhaps it's his Nohrian upbringing, but outside of the initial embarrassment, he isn't seeing anything particularly traumatizing about all of this. Especially when he thinks about it in terms of disassociating their true natures from it all- though what Niles says suddenly strikes him as something that makes a lot of sense, and would certainly put all of Subaki's efforts to waste. ]

[ He quickly rushes forward, stopping Subaki in his path and looking up worriedly at him. ]

You might just end up encouraging them to bring more in if you spend that much! I don't think you should... just imagine if they think they're popular and other people come in to buy them. I don't think you should risk that.

[ And then, in a voice hushed enough for only Niles and Subaki to hear, he adds– ]

Why not hide them in a part of the store no one will look to buy them, or see them...? That way, they won't sell, and the owner might even stop getting more in.
