Who: Lucio and YOU
When: The week after he showed up
Where: Caissa or The Shield
What: Lucio settles in
Warnings: None, as of yet.
1: Parkour!
If you're going to live in a city, you might as well get to know it. This, obviously, means lots of reading about history and guided tours and research and-pfffft no I can't say that with a straight face.
For Lucio, getting to know a city means climbing over every goddamn thing. This isn't as easy in Caissa's wide, orderly streets as it was in his native favela, but he was still managing. If this means jumping across the second floor balcony you were standing on, don't worry he isn't planning on sticking around. If this means that he just hopped down from a wall on top of you, don't worry he usually checks for people beneath him before dropping. If this means that your favorite hiding spot just got invaded by a short Brazilian man...Sorry but that just means your secret is out.
"Whups, 'scuse me!"
2: Dark sorcery!
Well not really that dark.
Lucio had lost his sonic amplifier in another dimension. By his own admission, he wasn't much of a fighter when it came to direct combat. That meant figuring out this magic thing.
This was something he couldn't really learn by climbing on things, so he actually DID fall back to research. Lucio could be found sitting outside on the grass with a book that had "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Mana and Magic" in large friendly letters on the cover. Nothing terribly out of the ordinary here, as that book has probably been checked out by new heroes dozens of times. The only thing that stands out is the large, ornate gauntlets he has on while he's reading. They kind of clash with the rest of the outfit.
3: The Shield!
Lucio didn't feel any real responsibility for what had happened to the victims of Noir's train attack, but he DID still want to help. At first he had just intended to do some work at the soup kitchen, but after he arrived at The Shield Lucio started to get a sense for the strong cultural identity they had here. It felt familiar to him. It reminded him of home just a little bit.
Even if he could only view that community from the outside, he still spent more and more of his time there, trying to get to know the people and understand them. Sometimes it was for officially sanctioned hero work; Sometimes it was just running around with local kids, or telling stories, or listening to stories.
4: Wildcard!
Look you know how this one works. Hit me up with some other weird idea if that's what you want to do. I can be found out
