[Open] I don't know what I'm to say

Who: Caren and you!
When: 6/25-7/15
Where: Lasker
What: Caren is investigating and "helping" the lost people
Rating: PG-13 for minor talk of destruction and death...and possible panty flash

A:Searching for the minor rail cars

[It's an interesting trip. Mostly she has to go around, with her knew bag (it had cat ears and supplies in them) and it was a way to search and take a long walk in the woods. She had to pause often though-more then she thought would happen, all things considered. But she's recovering. It's no ones fault but her own.

But she had stopped in a town nearby, and they gave her a tip off, without even offering colle, that there had been a commotion a few days ago, and they thought it had been an earthquake. So she was heading in that direction, with her snake carrier around her shoulders and walking in a steady pace.

...well, until she tripped. It might have been a rock, maybe a root, but she found one and down she went. Unless she was caught of course. Otherwise...

...she doesn't wear shorts with her skirt.]

B:Escort mission

[This was an unexpected discovery. She had been searching through the car, thinking mostly to find debris-but she heard the whimpering of a stray person. If someone was with her, she'd look to them.]

I hear someone. I'm going to investigate. Perhaps my strength and wires can render assistance.

[On pulling them out (whether it was her or someone else) they were left with some crying soul, frightened, uncertain, and perhaps injured. She reached in...and of all things, brought out a juice box. There was a strange glitter in her eye, and she was smiling a little. But it seemed accidental.]

Here. Drink this, slowly. We can take you back to Lasker. I'm certain you have people waiting for you.

[Nothing like dashing hopes to make her day.]

C: Debris Collection

[She'd been combing over the train, looking for parts that she could carry. She really needs a pack mule, and if she catches one unlucky person, they might find themselves in that position. She'd been finding all sorts of different parts: something that looked like parts of the bombs that had been disarmed (these looked like exploded parts, however), bits of baggage, worn off pieces of the train itself...

She frowned, and paused, finding a train door that had been flung off in the wreckage.]

Hey. Come look at this.

[She motioned them over, before she spread her fingers, and put them over the markings on the door.]

...I think I've seen something similar before. This was done by humans.

D: Distribute

[There were a lot of supplies that were to be distributed out. All the blankets, spare clothing...soap, toothpaste...things like that. She was fine was going from the wagons, to tossing the boxes to those who were supposed to catch them, with a stoic look on her face.]

Here. This isn't too heavy for you, is it?

[She couldn't tell, in comparison to other people. Strength boost was strength due to her rank but...she also didn't weigh a hundred pounds soaking wet even.

Though...sometimes she had to pause, and stared at a white shirt that had fallen out of a box, even when she shook it out. It reminded her of the jacket she had....ruined.]

E: Healing...or attempting to

Curatio.

[She wasn't a King, but she did know her way around a healing spell. There was just so many people that were in need, and she was learning how to parcel out her mana better, but...she was wearing herself down, little by little. She took in a deep breath, and rolled her shoulders. That had been a broken leg. She couldn't do anything about that with her medical knowledge. She would have done better with some way to analyze like a bishop, but she went with touch and questions. Practical ways. She still had a first aid kit with her, and could do some of the practical knowledge but...

Too many people needed that extra. For infection. For rebreaking bones. Her expression was serene, though she was looking rather limp from all of her hours. She had been doing this for hours. She took in a deep breath, before looking up at the person beside her, attendent, hero, whatever.]

Please bring the next person.

F: Feeding
[She used some of her funds to make the food go a little further. Sauces, vegetables, noodles and soups-that made it easier with her cooking skills. It was simple food, but it was healthy, and there was an appealing smell to it. She could be helped with preparation, washing dishes-she would hand them back silently to those stationed at the sink-or giving out the food.

At any comment of spice, she would slowly blink, and sigh.]

I did not make it for my consumption. It is as bland as you may wish for children or those with cat tongues.

G: Story time

[Criers were the worst. Whenever Caren got one of those, she had to sit there getting tears soaked into her shirt. It was far better if they did cry away from her, and talked about all the details of how they had suffered. At least she could enjoy that, quietly, as some sort of reward of all of the terrible things that happened to her, personally. Getting thanked was kind of weird, but it was best when they blamed her.

She drank that right up, like the tea she had brought. She even brought a pitcher full to share! And built a fire when it came cold at night.]

So, tell me in a little more detail. How did it feel?

[She was...well. Someone had to get some joy out of all of this pain, and that's what she was getting from the latest victim. Or, at least that was hoping she would get. If they asked her how she felt, her response would be very different.]

I'm not sure how I feel. Confused, I suppose. I died. Twice, on the mission.

[She took in a slow drink, calm.]

I keep wondering why they did it. They could have saved someone other than I.
