SPLANGCRUNCH, goes possibly the weirdest noise he's ever managed in any battle; something solid and iridescent is flashing in his eyes and bearing against his weapon, a bit blinding; and there's the really alarming and distinct feeling of his wannabe spear splintering and oh, boy.
One (1) part-time dog is sent flying pretty much across the room in an impressive arc about the height of the ceiling, if the ceiling existed here. The good news is, while he does managed to smack into the wall, there's so much water everywhere that his landing is just a rather nice splashdown.]

[He's already sat up within a second, shaking off the water all dog-like, which is probably wise. Because it's not like his personal Celaeno is going to wait around: it's making a beeline for its prey.
Also: possible suspicious ripples all around the place. How many more Celaeno friends are we about to meet? Answer: too many.]
