[Hux doesn't bother to respond to that, jerking his blaster back up as that monster starts getting closer. He doesn't even try to aim carefully this time; the tower is too shaky and the wind too strong, so he'll have to go with quantity over quality. It will waste bullets, but hopefully it will be worth it.
He pulls the trigger, the gun recoiling with a loud crack as it fires five bullets at once, the recoil far stronger than normal, to the point where he almost loses his grip on it. However, his estimation proves to be useful: Two of the bullets miss due to their precarious position, but the other three hit: one on the creature's wing, a second in its arm, and the third (and most deadly) in the creature's neck. It lets out a cry in reaction that quickly turns into a gurgle as blood sprays from the wound. Its hands go to its neck to try and stem the flow, but it's hardly any use. It seems he managed to strike something vital; moments later, the creature's grip on the tower slackens, and it tumbles off the side of the rock, down, down until it disappears through the cloud cover and can no longer be seen.]
