A brilliant, burning shape, emerging from the clouds like a celestial descending right from the heavens. Adra lets go of Gilgamesh as the shape draws nearer, as its silhouette becomes detailed, becomes inescapable. ]

[ He breathes the word as the fiery, shimmering creature descends. It's coming right for them, he realizes, and he can feel its heat against his face and arms as it draws near. Part of him is mesmerized. He wants to reach out and feel that fire in his hands, to touch this vital symbol of his people.
But the rest of him is a dungeon veteran, and if there's one thing dungeon veterans know, it's this: don't stand in the fire.
He shouts, strangled, as the phoenix comes crashing onto the island. ]
Out of the way! Step back!
[ He follows his own advice, but he's not quite quick enough--the phoenix grazes him with one of its wings, and he feels his mind catch fire in the worst way. His mana chokes as it suffocates from even this brief contact with the flames, and he stumbles back towards Gil and Saber, his head throbbing with pain. Damn it.
