Gilgamesh, be--[ Careful, is what she wants to say, but she's slammed against the ground as the celaeno writhes against the floor. Only by chance is she able to create a brief barrier to cushion the impact, but it still shakes her entire body and knocks all the air out of her. The celaeno is not doing itself any favors since the blade digs deeper into his neck and it finally relents.
She still finds strength to lift herself up, not enough to stand, but enough to turn over, prop her upper torso with her elbows digging against the marble floor, and look to see what has happened to the other dragon. Her body is aching, yet she's able to pull herself together. It's probably the adrenaline.
