[He has Saber's hand. He has both their reassurances. It's enough to stabilize him, enough to place faith in. Enough to hope for.
There's nothing left to do now but to fire. Gilgamesh lets the hook fly, and it catches the surprised beast straight through the chest, embedding itself in flesh and opening a large wound. More importantly, it secures an anchor point, and before it can start flailing, Gilgamesh shouts:]
Pull!
[Digging his heels into uncertain ground, Gilgamesh puts all his strength into reeling the Ocypete in like a rogue fish on the line. The gun does part of the work for them, automatically straining to try and yank it back. It was a risk Gilgamesh took, but by all appearances, it's paying off. Their target's losing the ability to maintain altitude, and once forced past the wind keeping it aloft, it starts to fall with alarming speed.
It starts to fall towards them, screeching and hissing in agony. The plan's working, alright... but it's working very, very fast, and indeed, they'll need to be ready.]
Swords—
[Gilgamesh draws his own blade with his free hand. Together, together. His eyes catch Saber's; his arm begins to move. They'll pierce it together, or not at all.]
