The instructions were lacking in any amount of safety procedures, the goal they had was woefully missing information on what they should actually expect, and they didn't even bother asking if anyone in their group had any aversion to heights!
Not that Maki is scared of them, she just thinks she's about the same level as anyone else when it comes to not wanting to fall to her death any time soon.
And worst of all, the worst person she has come across here in her short time in this world, all realized from a single conversation, is in her group. Maki could barely even believe it when it was Peacock (that was her name apparently) was set up with her and Luna (a much better person to be in a group with).
And for now. Guess what? She's not speaking to Peacock at all. The only response that the mechanical girl gets for teasing Maki is an indignant huff that could only belong to a girl who wanted for nothing growing up in a giant mansion, as she sticks close to Luna's side. ]
