An illusion of one at least; no steel is to be found in the blade that's just his mana channeled into swordform. Although it's not so much a sword but a plank of a giant greatsword, as long as Allen is tall and almost as wide. ] Here—

[ The wind of it is incredible, and Allen grits his teeth at that, heels digging in to keep from being forced back by the force of its flight as he uses the dragons path to strike a glancing blow across a foreleg. Nn..

He'll try—flipping the sword around to use both hands grip it and strike at and into the haunch of it as it goes past with all his might, the beast roaring at that.
The problem being that being an unearthly blade tapping directly into his inner strength... it has a lot of raw power. And cuts better than steel, burying itself deep in the dragon's hind leg. Deep enough that the dragon whips around, shrieking, and careens skyward again to escape it.
