Who: Marie/Soma and everyone and anyone taking part in the Cleansing
When: starting 5/6 with potential for different days throughout the month
Where: Hall of Glory
What: Both girls are doing their part to clean up.
Rating: Halle's going to be involved, so I'm saying at least PG if not higher...
phase I [ Soma ]
Her intention had been to train that evening. However, a quick stop by the bulletin board made her aware of the problem the cleaning staff had been having so much trouble keeping up with. A quick chat with a few of the staff members confirmed that this was not the only trouble. Besides being a paid task- Soma had no intention of allowing the place she lived to fall to level of filth. Thus her decision brought her to but one of the troubling areas of the Hall of Glory.
Which would be... the room storing the uniforms. Someone had done more than a little damage to the state of the armory. Tiny uniforms not fit for much more than finger puppets were one thing. And others had enough fabric to make twenty separate pieces. That was frustrating. But the worst were those that had been clearly altered in design altogether. Holding up the first of what may be many more to come, Soma's eyes widened... and then quickly narrowed in a scowl. The skirt was barely fit to cover anything standing still, much less while moving. And the top had been altered in much the same way. If she ever found the person responsible for this... not only would then have their fantasies crushed, but their bones as well.
Tucking it over her arm, she began searching.
For a trashcan.
phase II [ Marie ] Marie was happy to do a little cleaning to help out. It's a large facility- no wonder they have trouble keeping up with it. And with so many people, naturally comes a little mess. Granted a bucket of cleaning supplies including rags and polish, she was guided in the direction of the hall's prized collection of statues and paintings depicting various Heroes in various different poses.
It was amazing how quickly things like this had come about. It didn't feel like so long ago they were being tested. Now? They were being met with various forms of praise. Naturally it felt good to think that this might be the true symbol of their progress. These grand tokens reflected people's hopes in a way that battle reports and the like could not.
"There's a lot... better get to work." She didn't wear anything different for cleaning- so at the very least, she makes sure to push up her sleeves before she starts digging into her bucket for a rag and some polish.
