[The battle went down swiftly, thankfully, and neither of them were hurt, so she sighs in relief. She's certain that Setsuna and Gilgamesh have skills to fight on the frontlines, which leaves her as a suitable rear gunner. At the same time, this is not the best terrain for it. So clearly the only solution would be to make sure she can join them. If her long oar is not effective against armour, then needs something sharp. As her team mates recollect themselves, and Gilgamesh starts forward to scout, Vietnam looks at the lizard she took down. And then proceeds to take his sword gear and belt onto herself.

She doesn't feel right letting Gilgamesh on first, since his skill in detecting a weak spot is very important, but he is the one with the light and no one else can touch his weapon less they want a manaburst--

Hang on, mana. They could simply make fire. She will think about this later, as Gilgamesh has already called them over. There's a chance that wherever they are heading, they will no longer need the light. That being a perfect scenario.

She makes no noise as she quickly catches up to Gilgamesh and Setsuna, and then move onto the next area. It seems to slope upwards, with stairs making up for steeper angles. The look of area was already vastly better than the basement.

She's guessing that as soon as they climb this slope, they will be back on the floor they fell from. Which means there will be at least a little more light.]

No matter how much air comes through now, it still smells the same. [Full of blood.] I'm moving forward. [And she raises her oar-turned-gun up to use the scope.

AS Gilgamesh mentioned that it was clear, Vietnam treks forward, creeping quietly as to not alert anything that could have been hiding. One can notice strange shadows when moving forward, and she realises later as she gets closer to the end that those were the looming life sized shadows of statues.

There are so many Gladia statues, she really couldn't help but feel disturbed. It just didn't help that they came out from the pits of torture and death, so it was like being surrounded by so many stone corpses.]
