Who: Sonia, Nanami, Kirigiri and Komaeda
When: Early October, probably before the 13th!
Where: Gammon
What: Job log for Nothing Like the Smell of Fresh Air and Money
Rating: None
[ As days have ticked on by and they haven't really been able to catch up as a group Sonia decided that it might be best to combine this great opportunity with a little meet up between the four of them. Besides, it might help them feel more like things were normal, maybe it would help things slot together much more easily... it's hard to say.
When she arrives at the beach first she sets up the scene. She's borrowed a big blanket from somewhere and put that down. Next, there's an umbrella. She has a big basket with her packed with sandwiches and snacks, cakes etc. Just to make things easier for herself, she sent the others requests to bring drinks, sun cream and anything else that may be necessary.
For her, mind you, she only needs a small amount considering she's fully covered from neck to mid-calf. At least this time the wetsuit isn't a full one, but it still looks... questionable, when everyone else at the beach are in shorts and bikinis.
By the time anyone else arrives she'll have a book on her lap, and is sitting under the umbrella seeming quite peaceful. Her carrier is napping on her head, apparently finding the shadiest spot to not overheat.
When the first person arrives though, she looks up with a bright smile. ]
Ah. I'm glad you could make it. Please, take a seat. [ That's when she closes her book -- it sure is something about dark magic. Just ignore that for now though... ]

...well. nanami sort of counts as that. whatever.
for her own part kirigiri is wearing a more traditional swimsuit, but she's also wearing shorts and her gloves, which she is just. never removing. she's got a bag slung over one shoulder and a camera, picked up solely because apparently pictures are part of the job - or an encouraged part, at least.
she'll take a spot beneath the umbrella's shade, though. ]
Thank you for the invitation...the others are still on the way? [ she reads the title of the book out of habit but doesn't mention anything. just observes as she sits down, taking the bag off of her shoulder and placing it in the shade as well. ]

Not that he was going to mention any of this. The only strange indicator of his late arrival was that some person brought a case up to where Sonia had been situated and set it down before muttering something and leaving. It seems they were the one carting these obtained drink goods for him.]
Hello! I forgot to get things before leaving, but then everything worked out anyway.

there's a bit of a pause before she remembers that oh right, saying hi is a thing people do. she just woke up, ok. she always "just woke up". ]
... Hi. [ #nailedit ] Ah, do you think there's a banana stand run by an alligator...? Like at Toronbo Shores.

[ Well, Kirigiri is... the other two though.
She was about to say something else when Komaeda strolls up (with help???) after. She shifts then to peek at what he'd brought with him, but also to greet him now that Kirigiri had taken a seat already. ]
Mm. Nanami isn't here yet ei--
[ Well, thankfully they're all coming in one by one, that makes this easier.
Only, for as weird some of the things Komaeda says are, she really can't grasp what Nanami is saying at all. ]
I do... not think that would be possible here. Would ... it?
[ Now she's just going to look at Kirigiri, like she's the sanest person there (she is) who can probably agree with her right off the bat. ]
Still. I'm glad everyone could make it.
WHOOPS missed it being my turn
[ she has. no idea if there can be alligator stallmasters here. maybe? magic is real, so honestly why the hell not. but more importantly, she doesn't think nanami should set her heart on it in case there isn't... ]
So, mainly we're to relax and...take pictures and the like, yes?
[ .................this is not a job designed for her. ]

[He feld rather glad with his haul. His luck had been rather lacking when it came to his own personal well being, which might be a good thing in a way, but it seemed to be more or less normal when it came to chance encounters! Yay!]
As for alligators... I think this is the wrong sort of thing. Maybe something more akin to Boltac's Trading Post will be around though?
[Because if there was going to be any comparison obviously this world was more like Wizardry than anything.
Though now he found himself staring at Kirigiri and blinking a bit. Was that a real question?]
Well it is about sightseeing and enjoying the wonders of this place.
